For community based malnutrition management in Chhattisgarh state, Hamari Swasthya Laika program has been implemented in the entire state in August 2024. Moderately and severely malnourished children have been included under the scheme. A new mobile based application called "Samarthya" has been developed for monitoring and tracking malnourished children. Through this, real time monitoring of 3.50 lakh severely malnourished and moderately malnourished children of the state is being done. Weekly counseling is being given to malnourished children. Continuous follow-up is done even after coming out of NRC. Along with Ready to Eat, all essential medicines are also provided.
