An amount of Rs 500 per month (Central share Rs 200 and State share Rs 300) is provided as financial assistance to the elderly persons of 60 years of age and above living below the poverty line and Rs 650 per month (Central share Rs 500 and State share Rs 150) is provided to the elderly persons of 80 years of age and above
