Nawabihan Yojana is being run by the state government for the implementation of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005. As per the provisions of the Act, a Women Protection Officer has been posted in every district. Facilities and Assistance:- Under the scheme, provision has been made to provide legal advice, counselling, medical facilities, transport and shelter facilities to the victimised woman as per the need.
